All specimens were identified by the first author (AJB) in the context of a modern taxonomic revision. Specimen data includes records from southern Mexico to Ecuador. Specimens were requested from all major Insect Collections with significant neotropical beetle collections. Several other collections were visited in person by the first author (AJB).
