Four new species Paranastatus Masi (Eupelmidae, Eupelminae)

Paranastatus Masi, 1917 (Eupelmidae, Eupelminae) was originally described based on two species from Seychelles: P. egregius and P. violaceus. Eady (1956) subsequently described P. nigriscutellatus and P. verticalis from Fiji. More recent collections from the South Pacific revealed new specimens of Paranastatus, including what appeared to be undescribed species. Four new species of Paranastatus were described: P. bellus Scallion, sp. n. and P. pilosus Scallion, sp. n. from Indonesia, and P. halko Scallion, sp. n. and P. parkeri Scallion, sp. n. from Fiji.

Paranastatus egregius Masi and P. violaceus Masi were collected in 1917 from Seychelles.
