Sampling Methods

Specimens were collected by sweeping on the vegetation or individually from the flowers.

Study Extent Europe, Africa, Asia

Method step description:

  1. Dried specimens were relaxed in water with few drops of acetic acid to allow the dissection. Specimens were observed using Leica MZ16 stereomicroscope with magnification up to 120×, illuminated with diffuse light (neon bulb, 6400 K). Specimens were identified by the comparison wit the types.
