Kinkajou (Potos flavus Schreber, 1774): new records in the Brazilian Savanna
Version 1.2 published on 16 January 2018
This resource has not been registered with GBIF

New records of Potos flavus on two localities at the state of Goiás, Central Brazil. The records extend the geographical distribution of the species for the Cerrado. It highlights the extreme importance for future research with the species, which can better assess its conservation status, mainly in the Cerrado biome, where it seems to be restricted to the few existing forested areas.
