The Pteridophytes from Togo (West Africa)
These occurrence data come from collections carried out between 2013 and 2018 in Togo with the aim of providing a first exhaustive and reliable list of Pteridophytes in the country. Sampling is done semi-randomly in all possible habitat types. Georeferencing is done automatically in the field with a GPS. All the specimens are kept at the Lomé Herbarium (TOGO) and duplicates have been sent to the herbarium of the Museum of Natural History in Paris (P).

|研究區域描述||The study area is Togo. Togo is a country of the Dahomey gap, in West Africa. The climate is tropical with rainfall ranging from 800 to 1750 mm par year.|
Collection of specimens were performed semi-randomly in all habitat types and all ecological zones of the country. For each of the observations, the following information were provided: scientific name, land cover type, longitude, latitude, lifestyle and relative abundance of each Pteridophytes species in a 500 m² plot (50m x 10m).

|品質控管||A double identification was done, firstly on field, secondly thanks to African floras, reference specimens and type specimens hosted at P herbarium.|
- The data were recorded in a sheet after the correct identification of each sample. The scienific names synonymy at species level rely on "The Plant List" (http://www.theplantlist.org), Roux (2009) and other relevant floras. The scientific names orthograph have been corrected thanks to the IPNI database. Higher classifications (family and above) are based on the one proposed by PPGI (2016).
