Descrição

Specimen data for a taxonomic synopsis of the Altingiaceae is presented, including the taxonomic enumeration and distribution of 15 recognized species based on studies of specimens from 24 herbaria throughout the distributional range of the taxa.

The dataset was produced in support of a taxonomic synopsis of Altingiaceae (sweet-gum family) and is based on ~ 1,5000 herbarium voucher specimens across the distributional range of the Altingiaceae and is derived from consultation of ~20 herbaria.
