checklist_asteraceae_neembucu_paraguay
Ñeembucú is one of the least surveyed departments of Paraguay in terms of floristic diversity, largely due to its flooded topography, that up until recently had limited accessibility to its wild areas. Considering that Asteraceae is one of the largest botanical families in Paraguay, as an update to the knowledge of the flora of Ñeembucú, we present here a list of 88 species of Asteraceae for this region, distributed in 58 genera within 17 tribes.
